A BROUAV 30litre Agricultural drone not only is it suitable for pesticide spraying on the farm, it can also help the farmers to precisely survey their crops and monitor the condition of their livestock from the air.
This indeed helps to keep watch for potential problems and minimizes physical field management but ensures that operations are running smoothly and this greatly improves work. This same drone can alsobe used for monitoring the surroundings.
Marketing Manager for Heico Investments Kalu Konga, says the Brouv 30 litre drone that works hand in hand with other small drones operates as a surveying and rescue drone which is sent out in the field to look for areas were there are too many pests, were crop quality needs to be improved, soil quality needs to be improved and stray animals can be located.
“This 30-litredrone is operated by a pilot and it can be sent out in the field to spray on the exact locations that have been coordinated from the smaller drones. The small drone will send the exact coordinates of what is needed to be done at the exact location,” she said.
She explained that the uniqueness of the machine is that it comes with a screen where the pilot is able to monitor what goes on and they have all the controls on the screen which works like a remote. This drone does not step on the crops on the farm because it flies in the air when it is operating. It can be used for spraying fertilizer, seeds, pesticides and other liquids that are needed on the farm.
She said from a distance a pilot is able to lift the aircraft, as soon as it gets the good altitude it will be sent out in the field noting that the pilot will be monitoring where it is going as its coordinates and calculates the distance until it reaches the exact coordinates where it is supposed to spray from the top without wasting any of the products and when it does it job it comes back.
“This type of agricultural drone works very quick can be used by the farmers of all sizes; we advise the small-scale farmers who do not have enough resources to purchase the drone to work as enterprises and if they can’t they can just hire out because we are able to offer hiring services that can help to cut down on man power,” she stated.
Ms Kalu added that this machine is able to work fast and it does about 20 acres in 1 hour works fast and efficient than the use on man power in the field. In terms of maintenance the only thing to look out for is electricity for charging the battery which will always give a minimum number that the battery reaches when charged.
She further advised farmers to make use of the agricultural drone to help them improve their crops and the soil health, it can also help to cut down on the traditionally capital intensives jobs that people are doing and also time efficient to make their work easier.
