Thriving in Turbulent Times

IF A FARMER has to survive business wise in Turbulent Times. It's very vital that he or she understands the fact that whatsoever you mismanage, you lose and what you can't measure, you can't control.

Never should anyone leave their Farms on auto control or fate to determine results. The following reviews are very vital for a Farms success:

1: Productivity Reviews. Constantly review how your workers are performing and make the necessary changes if you have to. Are they meeting the production targets? If not, what's the remedy? This has to be done weekly, for some of us, we do it daily.

2. Financial Reviews. Constantly carry out financial audits. Remember, cash is king. Don't Wait until you are operating on zero capital to make changes. Financial audits or reviews helps one know whether they are on course financially.

3. Sales Reviews. Constantly review how the sales are going. This will help you decide quickly whether you need to make decisions like change of locations.

4. Marketing Audit. Constantly review how well your marketing strategies are working. Remember, a sole purpose for the existence of a business is to create a customer. Constantly review how your marketing team is doing.

5. Self-Reviews. Above all, take time to examine yourself and how you are fairing. Remember a farm is a reflection of you.
