Well, farm planning is a decision-making process in the farm business, which involves organization and management of limited resources to realize the specified goals continuously. Basically, farm planning is the sketching, outlining and drawing of the farmstead as well as arrangement of the land for proper usage without the risk of land degradation. It is also the general arrangement of a farm before and after it take off. Now, why is farm planning so important in farming business? It is important for the following reasons:

• It helps to maximize the use of the labour and other factors of production

• It help prevent wastage of farmland and other inputs
