Established in 2019, the radio station started broadcasting services of agriculture and technical information programmes in 2020 to farmers across a radius of 140kilometres. The Radio station’s mandate is to focus on programming which preaches harmony between farmers and all stakeholders. It complements the extension service through packaging information in seven languages which include English, Luvale, Kaonde, Lozi, Bemba, Nyanja and Tonga. In view of radio being one of the most accessible medium, affordable and also portable, it is envisioned that it will positively contribute to increased production, nutrition and increased income. Once the station is granted an expanded license, it will broadcast its agriculture programmes to farmers and the public countrywide.
